The story of a small but special regional town during Australia's 2019-2020 Black Summer bushfire season, where everyday people do extraordinary things to help their community survive and recover from the destructive fires. The example of one town, Braidwood in New South Wales, shows how locals recover from facing the greatest existential threat, being surrounded by fire.
