Cherish healthy forests and find out how to help them

Do you like forests? Do you want to find out more about how we can manage forests responsibly and take part in a game where you can win responsibly sourced wood products and other great prizes?

FSC Czech have prepared an interactive and educative kiosk with forest-themed coloring books and special detective game for small forest lovers. The FSC employees will also be happy to discuss any topics relating to close-to-nature forestry and FSC as an organisation with any visitors who wish to learn more about them.

FSC Czech has been promoting close-to-nature forest management in Czech Republic for almost 20 years. In recent years the organization has also been raising awareness about the threat posed upon Czech forests by the global climate change, whose negative effects on forests are already visible today. Close-to-nature forestry methods are among the most frequently mentioned measures in the context of forest adaptation to climate change. Close-to-nature forests are stronger, healthier and more resilient against the negative impacts of global climate change such as bark beetle or drought.
