The Last Transhumance — Ibrahim
For 10 days, from dawn to the first stars, the Ben Daoud family guides its 200 goats on foot to the cool pastures of the Moroccan High Atlas. For generations, the great transhumance has marked the passage from winter to summer, and embodies the freedom of a whole tribe. But in recent years, water has become scarce, the land has dried up, and the shepherds have no choice but to turn away from their nomadic heritage. Ibrahim is one of the last witnesses to a tradition that is running out of breath.
