Nature – Our Heritage: The Future of Nature
What is the real condition of the Czech countryside, where do we succeed and where do we fail in protecting it? Will we leave the Czech countryside and landscape to our descendants in good condition? Do the economic instruments of protecting our nature work, or do we need to change our view? What is the role of national parks and other areas with a high degree of conservation? What should the Czech landscape look like?
Ladislav Miko in the role as host will discuss these questions with:
Richard Brabec, Minister of the Enviroment of the Czech Republic
Robin Böhnisch, director of The Krkonoše Mountains National Park
David Storch, biologist, director of Center for Theoretical Study
Vojtěch Kotecký, zoologist, analyst in Glopolis
Petr Krejčí, movie director
Petr Bartoň, chief economist in Natland
Lenka Reiterová, botanist, a representative of Podyjí National Park Administration
Recommended for general public, the debate will be in Czech language.
